Hyundai Santa Cruz: Lighting System / Rear Combination Lamp

- Removal

   

• When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.

• Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

   

• Take care not to bend or scratch the bumper cover and panels.

Rear Outside Combination Lamp

1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.Loosen the mounting bolts then remove the outside rear combination lamp (A).

3.Disconnect the rear combination lamp connector (A).

Rear Inside Combination Lamp

1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.Remove the liftlgate trim.(Refer to Body - "Liftgate Trim")

3.Disconnect the rear inside combination lamp connector (A).

4.Loosen the mounting nuts and remove the rear inside combination lamp (A).

- Installation

Rear Outside Combination Lamp

1.Connect the rear outside combination lamp connector.

2.Install the rear outside combination lamp.

3.Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Rear Inside Combination Lamp

1. Connect the rear inside combination lamp connector.

2.Install the rear inside combination lamp.

3.Install the liftgate trim.

4.Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

- Replacement Stop & Turn signal lamp bulb

1.Remove the rear outside combination lamp.

2.Remove the stop & turn signal lamp bulb after turning it in the counter clock-wise direction.[Upper]

[Lower]

3.Replace the stop & turn signal lamp bulb (A).[Upper]

[Lower]

4.To install, reverse removal procedure.
